Brewery introduction
SENKIN inc.
Senkin was founded in 1806 (the 3rd year of the Bunka era) in Sakura City, Tochigi Prefecture. The name "Senkin" means "a bird serving an immortal," symbolizing a crane, and has been passed down through generations as the brewery's proud name. The brewery practices a "Domaine-style" approach, sourcing rice from fields located along the same water vein as the brewery's spring water, emphasizing the terroir of the land. Senkin also recreates Edo-period brewing methods, branded as "EDO STYLE." This approach combines classical techniques with ultra-natural production.
