Product Description

Blended with plum wine made from locally grown Nanko plums and fine brandy, this tea is brewed using Benifuki black tea from Kitsuki City, Oita Prefecture, slowly cold-brewed with natural deep underground water. The rich aroma and subtle bitterness of the black tea harmonize beautifully with the plum's sweet, tangy flavor and the refined accent of brandy.

Brewery introduction

With the wish to create sake that is ever more delicious and beloved, our brewery has been producing sake for 145 years under the name "Chiebijin", inspired by the name of our founding proprietress, Chie, since our establishment in 1874 (Meiji 7). We, who have inherited this tradition, brew each bottle with heartfelt passion and gratitude to the women and ancestors who have protected our brewery throughout the generations. Here in Oita, Kyushu-a region known for its shochu-we take great pride in continuing the craft of Japanese sake, our nation's cherished traditional spirit.
