Our sake brewing journey began in 2017 at Ryokkyugura in Kamikawa Town Hokkaido. In 2020 we established Heiungura on the campus of Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in Tokachi. In 2021 we founded Goryonogura in Hakodate City. Our goal is to revitalize local communities through sake. Using one hundred percent Hokkaido grown sake rice produced under contract with local farmers we craft regional sake that reflects the differences in water air and climate across the vast land of Hokkaido. We continue to take on the challenge of creating sake that is deeply rooted in each region and loved by the local community.
