Product Description
Concept: "Experience the Blue of HIRAN." HIRAN Seiten ("Blue Sky") was inspired by the breathtaking view from the obae Lighthouse on Ikitsuki Island, part of Hirado City. Standing at the very edge of the island, the lighthouse offers a panoramic view of the endless horizon - where the deep blue of the sea meets the vast expanse of the sky. It is a landscape that perfectly symbolizes the natural beauty of Hirado, a town embraced by the ocean. Capturing that serene and vivid scenery in liquid form, Seiten was born as a sake that is light, clear, and refreshing. This season's Seiten opens with a gentle, sweet aroma reminiscent of ripe bananas. On the palate, fresh notes of green apple and a lively, pleasant acidity create a clean and invigorating impression. When served at room temperature, the soft sweetness of the rice unfolds beautifully; when chilled, the sake becomes crisp and exhilarating - the perfect companion for the warmer months. The rice used for Seiten is Asahi rice cultivated through natural farming, without pesticides or fertilizers. This year, Yamada Nishiki is also grown under the same method. These rices are naturally low in protein, resulting in a sake with fewer impurities - enhancing the pure, refreshing clarity that defines HIRAN Seiten.

Brewery introduction
Mori Sake Brewery
Founded in 1895, our brewery has evolved alongside the times in the historic port town of Hirado, once a thriving hub of international trade. Now led by our fourth-generation president, we brew under the theme of "Tsunagi - connecting people and tradition through sake." Using pure spring water flowing from the foot of Saikyoji Temple and locally grown rice, we craft sake that expresses the unique terroir of Hirado - sake that truly embodies our home. As we carry our legacy forward, we aim to grow as a brewery loved by the community, connecting generations and people through the timeless spirit of authentic local sake.
