Brewery introduction
Akita Jozo Sake Brewery
Founded in 1919, the brewery initially focused on selling sake in barrels to major breweries in Akita City until around 1998. After Tadahiko Kobayashi became president, in 2001 a section of a condominium was converted into a brewery, and the company began actively developing its own products, including Yuki no Bijin. What truly sets Akita Brewery apart is that the brewery is located inside a condominium. This allows for precise temperature control and rigorous quality management, enabling stable sake production throughout the year. Going forward, Akita Brewery aims to continue producing high-quality sake that pairs well with food and can be enjoyed calmly, maintaining the refined image of Yuki no Bijin.
